This guide assumes you already have Maas 360 configured and iOS devices enrolled. We’ll walk you through creating the mobile configuration file in Contactzilla and deploying it via Maas 360.

What You’ll Need

• A Contactzilla account with an existing address book.
• An MDM team member created in your Contactzilla account.
• Maas 360 configured with enrolled iOS devices.

Step One: Set Up Your MDM Connection

1. Login to Contactzilla and select the address book.
2. Click on ‘Device Connections’ and create a CardDAV connection for MDM.
3. Configure settings: Connection Type: ‘iOS’, Assign to Team Member, Access Type (Full Read Only recommended).
4. Click ‘Create’.

Step Two: Download the Mobile Configuration File

1. Click ‘Setup’ on your new connection and choose ‘Download Profile’. Save the .mobileconfig file.

Step Three: Deploy via MaaS360

1. Security → Policies → Add Policy. Name: iOS – Contactzilla – CardDAV. Type: iOS MDM.
2. Edit policy → Advanced Settings → Import MobileConfig.
   Note: Before upload, remove the DOCTYPE line from the .mobileconfig file if present (some versions of MaaS360 require this).
3. Upload the edited file and save.
4. Apply to device group via Devices → Device Groups → More… → Change Policy.
5. Request Data Refresh for immediate push.

Step Four: Verify the Deployment on iPhone

1. Check the Contacts app for shared contacts.
2. Go to Settings > Contacts > Accounts to see the Contactzilla entry.
